Tub to Shower Conversion in Upstate SC & Western NC

Our family has run Bath Fitter here since 2003, and we’re still headquartered in Duncan. From Greenville, Spartanburg and Anderson to Asheville and Western North Carolina, our local crews take out tubs and put in walk-in showers with a custom-fit acrylic base and one-piece walls, often in as little as one day.

What do real Upstate conversions look like?

Two recent jobs from our Upstate crews, each photographed before the work, during demolition and after. The demolition shots show what was behind the old tub, which is where hidden water damage usually turns up.

What does a tub-to-shower conversion cost in the Upstate?

Our 2026 planning range is $8,500 to $17,000, with most customers near the middle. Simple finishes and a curtain keep it lower. Custom glass, a seat, grab bars and upgraded trim raise it. Your consultant gives you a written quote, and that’s the price.

Rot or water damage we find in the wet area is repaired as part of the job. See our conversion pricing and financing options.

Who runs the Upstate team?

Kell Chapman runs installs across the Upstate and Western North Carolina. He’s the one who tells homeowners when a bathroom should stay the way it is. Our installers are Bath Fitter employees, and Bath Fitter makes the acrylic they install. Meet the Upstate team.

Many are finished in as little as one day. Custom bases and custom glass can add time, and your consultant will tell you before work begins.
