Our mission is to make people smile every time they see their bathroom. For the Mullikin family’s Bath Fitter teams, that means taking the work, your home and the help you need afterward seriously.
Who are you trusting with your bathroom? What happens when the job needs another look? Those are fair questions. Louie Mullikin opened our first office in Duncan, South Carolina, in 2003. Today William, Andrew and Bailey Mullikin lead the family business. Here’s what our values look like in the work, with customer experiences you can read for yourself.

What does taking care of the customer look like?
It starts before installation. Your consultant measures the space and talks through your options. Operations reviews the job before it reaches the installer. That preparation helps the team understand the bathroom they’re walking into, from the footprint to the water shutoff.
It also means being useful when a project needs attention later. In a review featured on our site, Taylor Ingram describes asking for help after new bathroom flooring left a gap at the shower. Thomas returned and added molding to finish the transition. That’s a specific example of the service our customers talk about. Read Taylor’s review and other Augusta and Columbia customer stories.
Respect your home
You live here before, during and after the work. Clear explanations and cleanup matter alongside the finished bath or shower.
Oklahoma City customer Mike Evans wrote that Walter explained the work and “cleaned up everything and left it neater than he found it.” Read Mike’s full review.
Take pride in the craft
Our employee installers focus on tubs and showers. That repetition gives them time to know the product and the work.
As Kell Chapman, Operations Manager for Upstate SC and Western NC, puts it: “They don’t have to know how to do 15 different trades. They can do one really, really well.”
Own the conversation
A question after installation deserves a place to go. Our Contact page lists each local team and the customer-support number, so you can reach someone about the work.
“We make mistakes, we own them, and we take care of our customers.” Aaron Bishop, Operations Manager for Columbia and Augusta.
Help you choose honestly
A tub liner, a full replacement and a tub-to-shower conversion solve different problems. Some homeowners want tile or a whole-room remodel, which goes beyond our tub and shower focus.
Our bathroom options helper and guide to when Bath Fitter is the wrong fit help you sort that out.
Which values guide our team?
Our eight core values are pride, respect, trust, teamwork, resourcefulness, a positive attitude, customer focus and results focus. They belong together. Pride in the installation means more when the team also respects the homeowner. Resourcefulness matters when a bathroom needs careful planning. Results include how the room works for the person using it.
“There’s an extremely low bar for customer service in the home improvement industry. The only thing you have to do to stand out is do what you told your customers you’re going to do.”
Louie Mullikin, founder
How does a family helping families give back?
Through Fit for Good, we donate new bathtubs and showers to families in need. A bathroom can become difficult to use when getting over a tub wall or standing in a shower gets harder. Having a comfortable place to bathe matters.

Where can you see these values in the work?
Start with the people and the finished projects. Our team pages introduce local employees. The before-and-after gallery shows real installations, and the review hub lets you find customer stories by market.
Our six offices serve seven markets: Upstate South Carolina and Western North Carolina, Columbia, Augusta, Tri-Cities, Memphis, Little Rock and Oklahoma City. Find your local team to see who serves your area.
How can you tell us something needs attention?
Call Customer Support at 1-877-585-2284 or contact your local team. Explain what you’re seeing and have the project address handy. You don’t need to decide for yourself whether it is a product question, an installation concern or a service request before calling.
Is Bath Fitter Fam the national Bath Fitter company?
We’re the Mullikin family’s independently owned Bath Fitter franchise operation. Bath Fitter manufactures the acrylic products. Our local teams sell, install and service them in our markets. The national brand’s history and customer totals are separate from our family business’s record.
Meet the people behind your project.
